All Minnesota lawyers, law students, judges, civic leaders, academics, public
officials and their families and friends are warmly invited to attend the
Lawyers Guild of St. Thomas More’s 61st Annual Red Mass and Brunch on
Sunday, September 25, 2011. The Mass is at 9:00 a.m. at the University of
Saint Thomas Chapel, 2115 Summit Avenue, Saint Paul, Minnesota. Brunch
will follow immediately afterwards at Murray-Herrick Hall near the Chapel.
The cost is $50.00 (which includes dues and brunch for up to five) or $35.00
(which includes brunch for up to five). Extra guests will be $10.00 per adult
and $5.00 per child. Law Students are $10.00 per person.
The Annual Red Mass and Brunch is one of the principal activities of the
Lawyers' Guild of St. Thomas More, established in Minnesota in 1950.
The tradition of the Red Mass is rooted in the thirteenth-century European
custom of asking divine assistance for lawyers, judges, civic leaders and
academics in their professional endeavors
